Dina Meyer was raised and born at Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing her junior year, she relocated from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island. Her siblings include two younger ones and an older brother. It was her first position within the business. The model was employed from age nine to sixteen. Ron Stetson trained her in the techniques used by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. The process took approximately three years. The other actors who received such training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among others. Her role was in Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced to relocate in Los Angeles to take the part. Soon after, she scored as the lead role in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts, establishing her as a sexy actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to land a regular role in the show Friends.
